Lisa follows in the footsteps of three grandparents (Dr. Leonard Gold, Dr. Laura Morrow and Dr. Lloyd Morrow) who helped pioneer the field of Psychiatry and both parents (Dr. Marji Gold and Dr. Robert Morrow) who helped shape “Family medicine” as General practitioners. She emphasizes movement and its connection to the spiritual, emotional and physical bodies along the path in a joyful and healthy life.
While she specializes in Digestive Health and Mental Wellness, Lisa’s practice also encompasses musculoskeletal issues and oncology. Lisa began to study and practice Eastern Healing Arts in 1995. She earned her Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine from The Swedish Institute of Health Sciences, is Licensed to practice by the States of Hawaii and New York and is Nationally Board Certified by the NCCAOM. Lisa also has a BA in Latin American Literature from UC Berkeley.
